Nextweb installs the Apache program into its runtime folder, and leaves it for you to run.

- Install name
apache-2.4.69-linux-x64
What it is
Apache is a web server. It answers a request for a page, and it can hand that request to another program and send back what that program returns. You install this package when a site needs Apache.
History
In February 1995, the most widely used web server was the public domain HTTP daemon Rob McCool had written at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications. A group of webmasters gathered to coordinate their fixes to it, and the first public Apache release was in April 1995. In 1999 members of that group formed the Apache Software Foundation, which still holds the project.

What Nextweb does with it
Nextweb installs Apache into its runtime folder. It does not start Apache for you. Run it from that folder when a site needs it.
